An ongoing collection of crochet works developed through more than two decades of continuous practice, combining original designs, reinterpretations, and handmade objects across functional, wearable, and decorative forms.
Project Overview
I have been practicing crochet continuously since 1999, when I first learned the craft from a woman I met in the Netherlands. Over the years, crochet has evolved from a learned craft into an important part of my creative practice, through which I explore design, form, colour, texture, and handmade construction.
This collection brings together a selection of my crochet works, including both functional and decorative pieces. The works range from wearable and everyday objects to more artistic and experimental pieces.
Many of the works are based on my own designs, while others are reinterpretations or adaptations of existing patterns and ideas. In developing these pieces, I often combine crochet with other techniques such as sewing, embroidery, beadwork, and appliqué.
The collection reflects an ongoing process of learning, experimentation, design, and making, with each piece developed through a combination of technical knowledge and creative decision-making.
